Launching a New Website

Launching a New Website

The excitement in the offices of CommonPlaces got a little crazy this week, and we thought it was important enough to share. A beautiful new website was deployed on Tuesday by one of our clients, adding a significant component to their company's success.New Website

Epsilon, an experienced agency offering digital marketing solutions, has added Agility Harmony, a system designed to deliver exceptional email and multichannel campaigns that drive results. Epsilon built and designed Agility Harmony to enable their clients to generate stronger, smarter, and more effective campaigns '- essentially, a world class platform built by marketers, for marketers. This was their first venture into a product specific satellite site, and they turned to us to help realize their vision.

CommonPlaces was hired to design and develop a suitable website which would considerably enhance Epsilon's online presence. While it took us about twelve weeks to do everything, another four months passed while our client held user conferences. It wasn't until various stakeholders in the project at Epsilon had a chance to work with the site that they discovered ways for it to be more user-friendly, and to integrate more smoothly with their business needs. This led to a variety of tweaks and a continuing evolution of the final product. We always anticipate changes, and add a healthy dose of that to our budget, but this went beyond our expectations.

However, as far as Michael Reich, VP of Operations for CommonPlaces is concerned, the success of the project stemmed from Epsilon being, in his words, 'The ideal client.' He added, 'This project wasn't, initially, as big as it ultimately became. Their faith in us, and their respect for our ability to design and develop their website properly, resulted in a better finished product.'

Communication between all parties is vital to the success of any project. The pay-off speaks for itself. Epsilon Agility Harmony has everything we love to see in a website. It is responsive across all platforms, integrates perfectly with the client's many needs, easily navigated, and it is gorgeous to look at. The nicest part is that all parties are extremely happy with the results, giving everybody certain bragging rights.

Have you launched a new website recently? What were your expectations going into the project, and what would you do differently?
